Alabama Gypsyrose Jennings weighed in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces. This is a first child for the couple. Long story short: bad concussion, seven staples, bed rest for about a week, massive painkillers. Reason number two: my kids got a head cold, and so did I. Their cold lasted about three days...mine turned into pneumonia. I'm still wrestling with it, but I am getting better. Anyhoo, I hope to be around more in the coming weeks. After months of waiting and more than 500 hundred name suggestions from Bahamian students across the country, officials from Dolphine Encounters on Big Lagoon Island finally announced the dolphins? names. Dorothy Mae Eldmire of Kingsway Academy chose the name "Gussie Mae" and Nathalia Durham of Doris Johnson High School and Marissa Maura of the Lyford Cay School both won for choosing "Laguna."
