I know I've been MIA for quite some time, but I have two pretty good excuses.
One, my husband had an accident with the car. Long story short: bad concussion, seven staples, bed rest for about a week, massive painkillers.
Reason number two: my kids got a head cold, and so did I. Their cold lasted about three days...mine turned into pneumonia. I'm still wrestling with it, but I am getting better.
Anyhoo, I hope to be around more in the coming weeks. For those who celebrated a holiday yesterday, I hope it was a good one.
Ciao,
Angel

heard one!)
Serene Azure
Chrystien Sequentia Lee (Cre8ive Spelling anyone?)
Precious Latrese
Marisa
Lei-Lana
Quennton Marc

BABY DOLPHINS NAMED!
After months of waiting and more than 500 hundred name suggestions from Bahamian students across the country, officials from Dolphine Encounters on Big Lagoon Island finally announced the dolphins? names.
Dorothy Mae Eldmire of Kingsway Academy chose the name "
Gussie Mae" and Nathalia Durham of Doris Johnson High School and Marissa Maura of the Lyford Cay School both won for choosing "
Laguna." The students who chose the names received plaques, pictures of the baby dolphin they named and a Dolphin Adventure program for their entire class and their teacher.
The two baby dolphins bring the total number of dolphins over on Blue Lagoon Island to 19. Gussie Mae was born in early September to mother Chippy, and Laguna was born to Dot in October. The third calf was born in September to Nina and was named

I have not forgotten this blog...unfortunately, I recently fell and broke three ribs. Sitting at the computer is very painful, so I am keeping it at a minimum.
I do hope to be up and blogging again here within the next few weeks...and I am working on the poll for last year's Worst Baby Names.
Thanks to everyone for their kindness, understanding and patience in this matter.
